Lissewege is a village located between Brugge and Zeebrugge. It has many whitewashed houses and is officially one of the prettiest villages in Flanders.

Lissewege is famous for its church, which is very imposing, and also a sculpture exhibition which runs every year into September. The sculpture exhibition was on when we visited in September 2011.
